Natural Soda LLC 2024 Project Status Report & Annual Plan of Development <br /> 9 January 2025 <br />• In November 2024 NS submitted a request for Injection Approval for the 18H-IR- <br />W well drilled in October 2024. EPA approved the request and assigned Permit <br />C030358-12525 to the 18H-IR-W well December 19, 2024. <br />• May 10, 2024, NS sent in additional documentation with regards to the 14H-1V <br />Production well’s conversion to a SSMW well. The 14H-1V was originally <br />converted in September 2022 and NS notified EPA at that time, this <br />documentation was requested in addendum to the original notification. NS <br />supplied an additional Well P&A Form 7520-19 to the EPA in July 2024. <br />• NS requested Injection Approval for the 15H-1V production well from the EPA <br />July 8, 2024. The 15H-1V has been used as a recovery only well since it was <br />drilled and completed in July 2019. <br />• The routine, EPA mandated MIT Part 1 (5 Year) pressure test and MIT Part 2 (5 <br />Year) temperature logging reports for the 15H-IR-E well were sent to the EPA on <br />October 22, 2024. <br /> <br />Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety (DRMS) <br />• NS submitted annual reports and fees for DRMS Permits M 1983-194 and M- <br />1999-051 in January 2024. <br />• DRMS conducted an offsite 1st quarter inspection on March 26, 2024. DRMS <br />conducted a records review of NS Nahcolite Project through February and March. <br />D&A supported this review and supplied documentation including disturbed <br />acreage evaluation and earthwork volumes to DRMS as requested. No additional <br />problems or violations were noted during this inspection. <br />• July 1, 2024, DRMS conducted an onsite 2nd quarter inspection focused on the <br />reclamation success of recently reclaimed areas, and the recently drilled 18H <br />production wells. DRMS visited the BG-1/DS-2 location and the 14H I&R location <br />both recently reclaimed. Pad G, WSW-3 pipeline, and WSW-4 pipeline <br />reclamation were also inspected, DRMS recognized the Pad G and the WSW-3 <br />and WSW-4 pipelines to be reclaimed following a BLM review of the three sites. <br />No problems or violations were noted during this inspection. <br />• DRMS conducted an onsite 3rd quarter inspection on October 11, 2024, to inspect <br />the wellfield. The 18H production well pads, 19H East pad proposed location and <br />pipeline route were inspected. DRMS recommend a more aggressive weed <br />abatement program to battle the Russian Thistle that was noticed within the <br />wellfield. DRMS also recommended seeding of the topsoil piles on the 18H <br />locations as soon as possible. No additional problems or violations were noted <br />during the inspection.
