Upon completion of drilling hole MW 1 and hole MW2 these two(2)drills holes will convert to Monitoring/Observation wells.The <br /> conversion of these two(2)drills holes will allow Nuvemco to comply with the Colorado Division of Reclamation,Mining and <br /> Safety,rule 3.1.7 of the Mineral Rules and Regulations of the Colorado Mines Land Reclamation Board for Hard Rock,Metal and <br /> Designated Mining Operations in securing a Designated Mine Operation(DMO) 112B.The proper paper work and applications will <br /> be filed with Colorado Division of Water Resources-Department Natural Resources,and DRMS. <br /> Sampling and Removal: <br /> Nuvemco will use the existing disturbed mine site and Blue Streak portal to sample and remove ore.Material for sampling and <br /> removal will be stock piled underground.Waste material will continue to be placed on the existing waste dump.The existing steel <br /> gate in place at the Blue Streak Portal will be utilized for public safety as well as the protection to the underground equipment. <br /> The use of a generator located northwest of the portal will be used to provide power to the mine for ventilation and operations.The <br /> generator will be located near an existing air shaft(shaft will be screened to provided safety),electrical lines to service mine <br /> operations will be run down the shaft. <br /> A ventilation fan will be placed in the portal to control air quality and a portable air compressor placed approximately 150 feet from <br /> the portal to aid in the mining procedure as per MSHA regulations. <br /> If night time operations are required,lighting will be provided through the use of towable light towers.Lighting will be shielded as to <br /> only downcast light. <br /> Explosives will be used in conjunction with the sampling and removal of ore.Blasting will be conducted by qualified personnel. <br /> Explosives will be stored in powder and primer magazines underground as per MSHA regulations. <br /> Portable c-can/storage container-eight(8)foot x twenty(20)foot or eight(8)foot x forty(40)foot will be used for secure storage of <br /> equipment. <br /> A mobile office trailer will be placed near the portal and will be utilized in conjunction with sampling and removal of ore. <br /> (The BLM considers any structure that is left for more than 15 days to be "occupancy') <br /> The mobile office trailer will be utilized for communications,meeting,safety and respond to critical situations,as required by MSHA <br /> as part of an Emergency Preparedness Plan. <br /> There will be no permanent facilities or structures constructed. <br /> Water for underground drilling and mining activities will be purchased and hauled from the municipal water system in Naturita, <br /> Colorado. <br /> All diesel equipment will be operated and maintained in accordance with applicable federal, state,off-road,highway and <br /> applicable MSHA regulations. Such regulations as may pertain to air quality.In addition to diesel exhaust, dust will be <br /> generated from excavation and transportation. Water will be applied to the existing mine site and access roads as necessary <br /> to limit dust. <br /> Equipment to be used in the sampling and removal of material will include but not be limited to the equipment listed below. <br /> ❑ Excavator <br /> ❑ Dozer <br /> ❑ Loader <br /> ❑ Portable generator <br /> ❑ Portable air compressor <br /> ❑ Towable light towers <br /> 3 <br />
