,NUVEMC4, LLC. <br /> Please see the attached claim information included in Appendix 1. <br /> 3. Location of Proposed Activities:The project is located approximately 14.5 air miles northwest from Naturita Colorado.From <br /> Naturita,travel northwest on Highway 141 for approximately 2.4 miles to the intersection of Highway 90.Then travel west on <br /> Highway 90 for approximately 6.3 miles to the intersection of Montrose County EE 21 road.Then travel southwest on Montrose <br /> County EE 21 road for approximately 6.1 miles to the intersection of Montrose County DD 19 road.Then travel northeast on <br /> Montrose County DD 19 road for approximately 2.8 miles to the intersection of Montrose County FF 16 road.Then travel west on <br /> Montrose County FF 16 road for approximately 8.8 miles to the intersection of the mine road.Turn east and continue for <br /> approximately 0.7 miles until reaching the area of proposed activities in the Project Area. <br /> 4.Existing Disturbance:Existing surface disturbance in the project area includes numerous roads,tracks,and other disturbance <br /> associated with existing prospecting and mining activities as shown on figures included in Appendix 1. <br /> 5.Project Description:This Project is an exploration project.Nuvemco plans to access the drill holes from existing surface <br /> disturbance,sample and remove ore from underground workings areas.The current Plan of Operation is also approved by Colorado <br /> Division of Reclamation,Mining and Safety and has an established reclamation bond,for this project. <br /> Surface disturbance of drill sites,sumps,sampling and removal of approximately 999 tons of ore in the project area will not involve <br /> constructing any new disturbance. <br /> Drilling Activity:The drill sites have been calculated to each have an approximate surface disturbance of 70 feet long by 30 feet <br /> wide.Sumps have been calculated to each have a surface disturbance of approximately 20 feet long by 10 feet wide and 3.75 feet <br /> deep,and will be located adjacent to the drill sites in order to collect drill cuttings and manage fluids.Nontoxic fluids will be used in <br /> the drilling process. <br /> Nuvemco will utilize a truck mounted Davey MBARHP drill rig along with a truck mounted air compressor,to drill holes to an <br /> average depth of approximately 300 feet.The approximate depth to the water table in the areas of proposed drilling is unknown, <br /> however,Nuvemco is not anticipating to encounter water during the drilling program.Water for drilling will be purchased from the <br /> municipal water system in Naturita,Colorado.The drill crew will use 4-wheel drive vehicles to access the sites.Nuvemco will <br /> maintain the existing access road for safety purposes which will consist of smoothing of ruts and filling holes where appropriate <br /> within the existing road disturbance area. <br /> Hazardous substances utilized for the drilling activities will include diesel fuel,gasoline,and lubricating grease.Approximately 100 <br /> gallons of diesel fuel and gasoline will be stored in fuel delivery systems on the drill rig and support vehicles.Approximately 50 <br /> pounds of lubricating grease will be stored on the drill rig or transported by drill trucks.In the event that hazardous or regulated <br /> materials were spilled,measures will be taken to control the spill and the BLM will be notified as required.Any hazardous substance <br /> spills will be cleaned immediately and any resulting waste will be transferred off site in accordance with all applicable local,state,and <br /> federal regulations.Drillers will maintain spill kits on site for use in case of a spill. <br /> The locations of Nuvemco's proposed exploration activities are shown on the attached figures. <br /> Proposed Disturbance:The following specifics apply to the Project: <br /> Drilling Surface Disturbance: <br /> •Five constructed drill sites with dimensions of approximately 30 feet wide by 70 feet <br /> long=0.25 acre; <br /> •Five sumps constructed with the approximate dimensions of 20 feet long by 10 feet <br /> wide and 3.75 feet deep=0.03 acre. <br /> Total Proposed Surface Disturbance=0.28 acre. <br /> Drill cuttings will be collected and deposited at existing waste dump. <br /> 2 <br />
