environmental impact and facilitating post-removal reclamation.
Compliance with Rule 1.1:All temporary structures are defined as part of the"affected land"and must therefore meet gen-
eral standards for site stability and operational safety.
Approval and Permits: Prior to setup, permits for temporary structures will be obtained as required under the MLRA,
ensuring all structures are approved for their intended operational and environmental impact.
5.6.2 Stability and Reclamation Standards
According to Rule 3 - Reclamation Performance Standards, temporary structures like industrial tents must be constructed
in a way that supports site reclamation objectives and stability. These standards cover:
• Soil and Erosion Control:Temporary structures will be located and supported to prevent soil erosion and ensure stabil-
ity in compliance with Rule 3.1.Measures include compacted base installation, erosion mats, and drainage systems to
protect against environmental degradation.
• Post-Removal Reclamation: Following the removal of temporary structures, the affected land will undergo reclamation
to restore the land to its baseline condition. This includes regrading, reseeding, and erosion control as necessary.
5.6.3 Environmental Protection Plans
All temporary structures will be inspected regularly to verify that they meet environmental control standards for water
drainage,runoff management,and environmental stability.
5.6.4 Monitoring and Reporting
Regular inspections and ongoing monitoring will support both safety and regulatory compliance for all temporary struc-
tures on the site:
Compliance with Rule 8: To prevent any unforeseen environmental or operational hazards, all temporary structures will
be assessed under Rule 8,which mandates site inspection and regular reporting. These procedures ensure all industrial
tents or other temporary facilities remain compliant with stability and emergency standards, maintaining safe operational
conditions.
5.6.5 Safety and Compliance Audits
Each temporary structure installation will undergo safety checks and compliance audits in alignment with state require-
ments:
Documentation and Transparency: Records of all installations, inspections, and safety measures will be maintained in
compliance with MLRB standards, ensuring transparency and accountability for the lifecycle of each temporary structure
on the site.
5.7 Steep Slope Protection
10
HARDROCK/METAL MINING REGULAR(112)APPLICATION Au Pt Industries LLC I PO Box 1424-Edwards,Colorado 81632 1970 306 1 784
