(iii) An outline of the sequence in which each stage or phase of the operation will be
carried out.
The active mining site will consist of 10 acres of topsoil being stripped in advance of
10 acres being mined, in advance of 10 acres being regraded, in advance of 10 acres
being topsoiled in advance of 10 acres being seeded. Using this mining sequence,
applicant will have 50 acres in various stages of disturbance/reclamation plus 20 acres
in Unit A housing the processing and ancillary support areas. See attached Plan Sheets
(Exhibits D-1 —D-8)
(f)A map(in Exhibit C-Pre-Mining and Mining Plan Maps(s)of Affected Lands,Rule 6.4.3)
may be used along with a narrative to present the following information:
(i) nature, depth and thickness of the deposit to be mined and the thickness and type
of overburden to be removed(may be marked "CONFIDENTIAL," pursuant to Rule
1.3(3)).
The general thickness of the material to be mined is approximately 15 feet on average.
Approximately 6 to 12 inches of topsoil will be removed first. There is little to no
overburden between the topsoil and the material to be mined. Mining will extend
approximately 10 feet below the elevation of the access road to the west of the site and
extend across the mined area at this elevation.
(ii) nature of the stratum immediately beneath the material to be mined in
sedimentary deposits.
Based upon mining in the 110c, the stratum underneath the material to be mined consists
of water saturated sand. Mining will not expose groundwater and there will be a minimum
of 2 feet of cover above the historic groundwater elevation at the conclusion of reclamation
so as to prevent the exposure of groundwater to the atmosphere.
(g)Identify the primary and secondary commodities to be mined/extracted and describe the
intended use.
The primary commodity to be mined will be Frac Sand. There are no secondary commodities;
however, there will be waste product or reject material that will be placed back and regraded
into the mined areas.
(h) Name and describe the intended use of all expected incidental products to be
mined/extracted by the proposed operation.
Applicant does not expect any incidental products to be mined or extracted by the proposed
operation at this time.
CoProp LLC—Rodeo Dunes Mine Page 4 of 5
Construction Materials Regular Operation(112(c))Reclamation Permit Application Form
