Morrison Quarry January 2024 | 11 Schedule It is anticipated that mining will be completed in the Satellite South Pit in early 2027. At this point, if additional mining is not anticipated or approved in a permit modification, reclamation work will commence. It is anticipated that this reclamation work, focused on backfill and compaction up to El. 6,600, will take up to 16 months to complete. 3.3 Planned Satellite South Pit Reclamation Scope of Work Item 1.0 Mobilization/Demobilization This item includes all costs necessary and incidental to move equipment and supplies onto the project area; move equipment within the project area during the course of the project; and fulfill any other requirements necessary for the successful completion of this project. The operator will maintain such temporary works and equipment throughout the period of construction. This item also includes all labor, equipment, and costs associated with demobilization and clean-up of the project site following completion of the project. For the scope of work proposed, Holcim assumes that the following equipment will be mobilized to the site (this equipment list is the equipment currently used by Holcim for production and reclamation activities at the Quarry): · (1) Surface Drill (Atlas Copco D65-T4F or equivalent) · (1) Front-end wheel loaders with a 15-cubic-yard bucket (Caterpillar 992 or equivalent) · (1) Bulldozer (Caterpillar D9 or equivalent) · (3) Rigid 100-ton haul trucks (Caterpillar 777 or equivalent) · (1) Water Truck (Caterpillar 725C2 Modified - 10,000 gallons or equivalent) · (2) 6” Garmen-Rupp PA Series Pump (Model PA6c60-40450/51 or equivalent) This equipment will most likely be provided by the operator. The loading, hauling, and grading equipment can also be rented from Wagner Rents – Caterpillar Rental, 17800 E. 22nd Avenue, Aurora, Colorado 80011. The drill and blasting equipment and services can be procured from qualified contractors in the area. Costs for reclamation assumed loading, hauling, and grading equipment rental, dewatering pump purchase, and procurement of a qualified drilling and blasting contractor. Item 2.1 Mined Area Earthwork: Drilling and Blasting As described in Section 3.2, fill material will need to be generated on-site to provide material to complete the Satellite South Pit backfill activities. This material will be generated in the South Quarry, below the West Quarry, in the footprint approved under AM07 and is anticipated to be completed concurrent with Satellite South Pit reclamation activities. Drilling and blasting will be completed using drill and blast methods currently employed at the site (refer to AM05 for drill and blasting methods). Based on current drilling and blasting methods, the material generated will be no greater than 30 inches to support direct transport to the Satellite South Pit location for placement
