STORMWATER MANAGEMENT PLAN MORRISON QUARRY <br /> REVISION NO.8 1 August 2022 CERTIFICATION NO.COG500320 <br /> 4.12 DUST OR PARTICULATE GENERATION <br /> Dust and particulates can be generated by the operation and onsite truck traffic. <br /> Water is used as a dust suppressant on the haul roads and areas around the plant to <br /> control fugitive dust. Chemicals may be used as needed. Invoices shall be kept in the <br /> facility's Stormwater Binder in Appendix J any time chemical suppressants are used. <br /> Note: The use of chemical suppressants requires the notification and approval from the <br /> WQCD. <br /> The permit requires sweeping at regular intervals. Immediate access roads are cleaned <br /> daily. Documentation is kept by CAM Services, the company providing the daily <br /> maintenance work at the Mine. This facility sweeps the paved entrance/exit road on a <br /> regular basis to reduce dust and particulate generation. These records are kept with the <br /> site manager. <br /> 5. INSPECTIONS <br /> The inspectorshall complete the inspection form included in Appendix C. Completed forms shall <br /> be stored in the records folder in the facility's Stormwater Binder in Appendix E. This section <br /> describes visual scope, frequency, and documentation for inspections as required under the <br /> permit.The person responsible for the inspection shall be a member of the Environmental team, <br /> plant manager/supervisor, or designee. <br /> 5.1 INSPECTION SCOPE <br /> An inspection form is included in Appendix C.The following is a summary of the scope of <br /> the visual inspections required by the permit including locations to be inspected, what <br /> items need to be observed, what items of the SWMP need to be verified and the <br /> assessments to perform. <br /> LOCATIONS <br /> • Entrance/Exit • Shop <br /> • Retention Ponds • Plant <br /> • Truck Wheel Wash • Fuel Storage Area <br /> • Haul Roads • Active Mining Area <br /> • Stockpile Area • Outfalls <br /> OBSERVATIONS <br /> 21 <br />
