Construction began approximately Decem-
ber, 1975 and was completed approximately October, 1976. The building is currently in good condition.
The office has about 9,100 square feet on the first floor and 5,200 square feet on the second floor. It
houses several departments including engineering, environmental quality, accounting, safety, personnel,
and management. The security office, coal laboratory, first aid room, men's/women's change rooms,
showers, and the ambulance garage are also in this building.
The laboratory is equipped with an "Arrestall" air filter system to limit air pollution. Drainage from this
building flows to sediment control dams in No -Name Gulch.
This structure is not scheduled to be removed until the coal reserves are exhausted according to proce-
dures discussed in Section 3.8.4.
In 1988, construction was completed on additions to the Office Complex. An addition was made onto the
southeast (1987) and southwest corners of the office. Additionally in 1988, the employee parking area
was expanded. Map M13B shows these additions along with the present Office, Shop and Warehouse
Complex.
MAY 21 2013
3-180 t- -vision: i i
-,pproved
