• Facilitates review and approval process with Corporate Communications for the initial <br /> set of messages <br /> • Prepares the designated spokesperson, if needed <br /> • Monitors crisis events and updates messages as needed <br /> • Communicates updated messages to internal and external audiences according to <br /> predetermined process and procedures <br /> • Advises the community and media if authorized by Corporate Communication <br /> 3.4 Environmental Lead <br /> Upon being notified of an incident, the Environmental Lead (or representative) shall: <br /> • Advises CMT Lead on issues regarding environmental impacts of the incident <br /> • Coordinates emergency clean-up teams as needed based on input from the <br /> Environmental Field Engineer <br /> • Notifies relevant government agencies according to the immediate reporting criteria <br /> • Notifies Corporate Regional Environmental Manager <br /> • Keeps CMT Lead notified of incident progression <br /> 3.5 Safety Lead: <br /> The Safety Lead shall: <br /> • Advise CMT Lead on issues regarding safety incident <br /> • Activates emergency teams as needed based on input from Operations Technical Lead <br /> • Notifies relevant government agencies according to the immediate reporting criteria <br /> • Notifies Corporate Health and Safety as appropriate based on incident <br /> • Keep CMT lead notified of incident progression <br /> • Conducts or assists in investigation of safety related incidents <br /> 3.6 Hoistman and Dispatch <br /> Upon being notified of an emergency incident, the Hoistman shall be responsible for: <br /> • Contacting the Command Center <br /> Upon being notified of an emergency incident, the dispatchers shall be responsible for: <br /> • Contacting the Crisis Management Team <br /> • Ensuring that the Facility Emergency Response Coordinator or one of the alternates has <br /> been notified; and <br /> • Notifying the on-call safety and environmental representative. <br /> 3.7 Area Supervisors and Superintendents <br /> Henderson Mine IRM <br /> March 2023 3-2 <br />
