3.0 ORGANIZATION RESPONSIBILITY AND DUTIES <br /> 3.1 Organizational Structure <br /> The following flowchart summarizes the organizational structure for an environmental <br /> emergency response at the Henderson Mine. The names and contact information for all listed <br /> positions is provided on the Environmental Incident Response Flowchart found in Appendix B. <br /> The crisis management team organizational chart and contact information can also be found in <br /> Appendix B or on the Crisis Management SharePoint. The responsibilities of each function are <br /> further discussed below in the flowchart. <br /> Environmental Lead <br /> o Internal notification <br /> o External reporting <br /> o Coordination of clean-up teams <br /> Manager,Regional Communications <br /> o Public Relations <br /> Environmental Field Engineer Manager,Health and Safety <br /> o Spill Cleanup o Injury Management <br /> o Field coordination o Reporting <br /> o Reporting of information to (MSHA,Insurance, <br /> Environmental Lead Internal) <br /> 3.2 Emergency Field Engineer <br /> The Environmental Field Engineer shall: <br /> • Work with operations to ensure appropriate environmental response at the scene <br /> • Gather appropriate information for government agencies and report it to environmental <br /> lead <br /> Advises Environmental Lead and Operations Technical Lead of potential environmental <br /> issues and provides options for mitigation <br /> 3.3 Communications lead <br /> The Communications Lead shall: <br /> • Control the release of information within and outside the organization <br /> • Advises CMT Lead on information dissemination and media relations <br /> • Assesses incident and collects information as required <br /> • Drafts initial internal/external messages <br /> Henderson Mine IRM <br /> March 2023 3-1 <br />
