The inlet was stable with no indications of down-cutting or erosion. The discharge outlet was clear <br /> of debris and stable. There were no indications of erosion or instability with the embankment. Sufficient <br /> vegetative cover was observed. Pond 18 was holding a puddle of water during the inspection (Photo 1). The <br /> bottom of the pond was muddy. The discharge outlet was unobstructed,no discharge was occurring. The <br /> embankment was stable with vegetative cover and a group of deer was observed on the southwest side of the <br /> embankment. SP-2 was holding a small amount of water at the time of the inspection (Photo 6). The discharge <br /> outlet was clear of debris. The level of the water in the pond was well below the level of the discharge outlet. The <br /> pond's embankment was observed to be vegetated and stable. There were no erosional features identified. <br /> Berms observed along the down slope sides of the disturbed areas were stable with vegetative cover. Runoff from <br /> the disturbed areas would be redirected from these berms to associated sediment ponds. There were no erosional <br /> concerns noted. <br /> ROADS—Rule 4.03 <br /> Construction 4.03.1(3)/4.03.2(3),Drainage 4.03.1(4)/4.03.2(4), Surfacing and Maintenance4.03.1(5)and <br /> (6)/4.03.2(5) and(6), Reclamation 4.03.1(7)/4.03.2(7): <br /> Access to the permit area was by county roads. These roads were somewhat damp,but did not hinder <br /> access to the mine site. 2700 road is paved and was in good condition. <br /> RECLAMATION SUCCESS -Rule 4.15, Rule 3: <br /> Irrigated Pasture area 10 (IP-10)was stable with vegetative cover(Photo 7). There is a small portion of <br /> this area that has had some differential settlement. The Mine has coordinated with the landowner to add more <br /> topsoil to remedy the settlement of the surface. The Division permitted this action with Minor Revision No. 124. <br /> There were no indications of erosional features within IP-10. <br /> Irrigated Cropland no. 1 (IC-1)is located to the west of IP-10 across 2700 Road. The reclaimed field was covered <br /> with vegetation and stable (Photo 8). There were no erosional features identified. <br /> Irrigated Pasture area no.s 8, 9 and 11 are located to the north of IC-1, across BB Road. These areas were <br /> observed to be stable with vegetative cover. No erosional features were observed. <br /> To the north of IP-I I is Dryland Pasture area no. 10 (DP-10). The inspection party observed DP-10 to be stable <br /> with vegetative cover. There were no erosional concerns identified. <br /> Dryland Pasture Area No.s 11, 14 and 15 are located in-between IP-9 and IP-11, and BB Road. All three of these <br /> dryland pasture areas were vegetated and stable. No indications of erosional features were seen. <br /> Various stockpiles of Bench 1 Material remain within Section 36. The stockpiled material was observed to be <br /> organized into stable piles. There were no erosional concerns noted and no off-site impacts were observed. <br /> SUPPORT FACILITIES -Rule 4.04: <br /> Support facilities that remain at the mine site are located by the mine office. The pad containing the mine <br /> offices and warehouse was stable with no erosional features.
