The dragline is scheduled to walk (TR132),to west end of mine. <br /> Backfilling was ongoing at the north and west highwalls in N Pit. High wall mining is occurring along <br /> the south highwall. The miner appeared idle at the time of inspection. <br /> SIGNS and MARKERS Rule 4.02 <br /> o Topsoil stockpiles observed were clearly marked with identifying signs. <br /> o The mine site identification signs observed at the main mine access point, (entrance from State <br /> Highway 13),was intact, and displaying all required information: mine name, operator name, <br /> address,phone number, DRMS permit number and contact information. <br /> o Blasting notification signs were placed at the entrance to the site. <br /> o Pond identification signs were prominently displayed in the vicinity of the ponds visited and were <br /> in adequate repair at the time of inspection. <br /> o Permit boundary markers appeared adequately spaced and visible. <br /> ROADS—Rule 4.03 <br /> Construction 4.031(3)14.03.2(3); Drainage 4.031(4)14.03.2(4); Surfacing and Maintenance 4.03.1(5) <br /> and(6)14.03.2(5) and(6); Reclamation 4.031(7)14.03.2(7) <br /> o Main haul roads were in good repair and well maintained at the time of inspection, as were roads <br /> in L and N Pits. <br /> o Access roads were accessible throughout the site. <br /> o Ditches appeared to be functioning adequately. <br /> o Roads were being watered up to D Pit <br /> SUPPORT FACILITIES—Rule 4.04 <br /> o The Ash Pit exhibited a firm surface throughout. No issues were observed requiring attention at <br /> the time of inspection. <br /> o The final lift at the top of the Ash Pit is nearing completion. A will do a drone flight is scheduled <br /> in order to validate and update grade and elevations files. <br /> o Barrel storage at solvent storage held several compromised and leaking barrels. Otherwise the <br /> enclosure comprised a concrete pad and adequate containment and not leakage off of the pad was <br /> identified. <br /> o Blasting equipment and materials storage buildings appeared properly secured and stable on a flat <br /> graded hard surface at the time of inspection. The blast material silos appeared in good repair <br /> with no issues identified. An old emulsion tank is located along the north edge of the pad and is <br /> scheduled for disposal. <br /> HYDROLOGIC BALANCE Rule 4.05 <br /> Drainage Control 4.05.1, 4.05.2, 4.05.3; Siltation Structures 4.05.5, 4.05.6; Discharge Structures 4.05.7, <br /> 4.05.10; Diversions 4.05.4; Effluent Limits 4.05.2; Ground Water Monitoring 4.05.13; Drainage-Acid <br /> and Toxic Materials 4.05.8;Impoundments 4.05.6,4.05.9; Stream Buffer Zones 4.05.18 <br /> Unless otherwise noted, pond banks and dams appeared stable at the time of inspection. Spillways and <br /> flumes were accessible at the time of inspection. The entire No Name system has significant aquatic <br /> vegetation growing in each pond causing water chemistry to fluctuate. The following pond systems were <br /> visited: <br /> a) The seep discovered at the top of D Pit was observed and did not appear to be expanding <br /> or causing adverse effects. <br /> b) Reconstructed drainage in the parcel LAB 18 was walked from top to bottom.
