Compliance With Mine Plan NA - Support Facilities Not On-site <br /> NA - Other NA - Special Categories Of Mining <br /> NA - Processing Waste R- Topsoil <br /> COMMENTS <br /> This was a complete inspection of the Trapper Mine; permit C1981010, operated by Trapper Mining Inc. <br /> The inspection was conducted and the report and photos prepared by me, Robin Reilley of the DRMS. <br /> Sean Hovorka, Trapper Mine representative was present throughout the inspection. Skies were clear. <br /> Temperatures ranged between 55 and 65 degrees Fahrenheit. The air was calm, and dry. Coal was being <br /> hauled from I Pit. <br /> PERMITTING ACTIONS in PROGRESS: <br /> o Permit Renewal 8 RN8 <br /> o TR132 <br /> o Permit Revision 11 (PR11) is in the process of development with a proposal to open a C Pit <br /> depending on core samples <br /> MAINTENANCE ITEMS: <br /> 1. Compromised and leaking barrels must be removed from the site and properly disposed of. <br /> 2. The emulsion tank located at the anfo silos should be disposed of. <br /> 3. Cattails at spillway entrance of East Middle Flume Pond 41 need to be removed as do grasses in <br /> downstream exit of flume. <br /> 4. <br /> O UTSTANDING MAINTENANCE: <br /> 1. Reconstructed drainage in parcels LAB18 and 19 require repairs. <br /> INSPECTION <br /> GENERAL MINE PLAN COMPLIANCE: <br /> Activities in the L,N and I and J Pits were observed and appear to be progressing as permitted. The <br /> highwall miner was operating in I Pit and coal was being transported out of the pit. 12 high wall mining <br /> entries remain for mining in I Pit Middle. These are expected to be completed by mid November 2022. <br /> Backfilling has begun at west end of the pit. I Pit East held a water on the north end therefore,high wall <br /> mining was not occurring. Mining is expected to be resumed in November. Approximately 60 entries <br /> remain. High wall mining occurs on the north side of the pit and dragline mining will take place on the <br /> south wall. I Pit extension will we drilled Friday, 14 October for an overburden shot scheduled for the <br /> following week. <br /> A large overburden shot had recently occurred in J Pit and the overburden is waiting to be shoveled out. <br /> The pit is under development with topsoil piled and awaiting fall 2022 seeding for erosion prevention. D <br /> Pit reclamation appeared to be progressing adequately,topsoil was being hauled from above and <br /> stockpiled,backfilling and grading was ongoing towards the north end of the pit.
