The bridge at MP 19.37 was <br />likely constructed within the C&W Railroad’s <br />period of significance circa 1951 as part of a <br />major rehabilitation of the railroad corridor. <br />The bridge retains sufficient integrity to be <br />considered a contributing feature to the <br />C&W Railroad’s NRHP eligibility under <br />Criteria A. <br /> 5LA.7112.16 Historic <br />Structure <br />C&W Segundo Bridge West; <br />Pratt Through-Truss Bridge at <br />MP 15.06 <br />Not Individually Eligible <br />Contributing Feature of the C&W RR: the <br />bridge at MP 19.37 was previously recorded <br />and determined NRHP eligible; however, <br />because there are no forms on file in <br />Compass for the resource, it is unknown if <br />the bridge was previously determined <br />individually NRHP eligible or as a <br />contributing element of the NRHP-eligible <br />C&W Railroad. The Pratt through-truss <br />bridge at MP 15.06 was constructed by the <br />American Bridge Company in 1902 to <br />replace an earlier bridge.
