Approximate total size of disturbance: 10.24 <br /> acres (please note this area is not rectangular, see mining and reclamation maps for exact area <br /> and dimensions) <br /> Water Regulation Compliance. The depth of ground water is anticipated to be greater lhan 200 ft— <br /> below the buttom of the proposed pat excavation (calculated using well 24653-Ml I, dry at 24ft deep— <br /> at elevation 6210 ft). No water will be used in preeessing. (see attaehed exhibit 1). <br /> Processing- The depnS4t will not be washed' rriisheri, or processed On anyway on site It will be <br /> loaded into trucks and hauled away, Thus no wash ponds or chemical ag .nts will b required, This <br /> area is virgin land and no refuse (physical or chemical) is anticipated to be encountered. <br /> Drainage and Hydrologic Impact Control: This site is located across a flat pasture, there is no <br /> concern of any impacts from upland drainage due to the gradual nature of the existing topography. <br /> e final topography of the pit will rain to the same exist ing depression as the Curren pas ure <br /> land. A 2 foola compacted earthen berm will be constructed from existing topsoil and over bur en <br /> diany the Western, Easierri, and Northern borders of the pit in arder to provide erosion arid <br /> sediment control. This proposed BMP is On compliance with the erosion and sediment reqUireme,its <br /> for the eentFaeted prejeet along Highway 11 S. <br /> Proposed Future I and I Ise* This property will remain as rangeland folln i operations <br /> final slopes will be 4.1 or shallower to allow livestock and ranch vehicles safe access See <br /> reclamation plan (map) for final stable configuration. <br /> Commodities: The only commodity to be produce from this site is earthen fill for CDOT project <br /> 22903. <br /> Blasting: No blasting operations are to take place <br /> Mining: Mining will be conducted at a 4:1 active face and no backfill grading will be <br /> required <br />
