EXHIBIT D -Reclamation Plan
Rule 6.3.4
The purpose of the Reclamation Plan is to describe the timing, procedures, criteria and materials that will
be used to reclaim the affected land to the proposed future land use. This plan must be correlated to
Exhibit E - Map.
1) Primary future (Post-mining) land use (check one):
Cropland (CR) Pastureland (PL) General Agriculture (GA)
Rangeland (RL) Forestry (FR) Wildlife Habitat (WL) **
Residential (RS) Recreation (RC) Industrial/Commercial (IC)
Developed Water Resource (WR)
**Note: The Colorado Parks & Wildlife (CPW) must be consulted where wildlife use is the
proposed future land use.
2) Please provide a general description of how the mined area will be reclaimed:
Following mining operations all slopes will be graded to conform to 4:1 or shallower, and made
to drain, then topsoil will be re-spread to cover any areas of disturbance. Following topsoil
spreading the disturbed areas will be ripped and seeded, including any previous stockpile
areas. NO overburden material is anticipated bu if encountered overburden will be spread
evenly across !he site prior to topsoll placement.
3) Specify which ponds, streams, roads and buildings, if any, will remain after reclamation.
These features must be shown on the Exhibit E-Map:
All existing roads, and structures will remain following reclaimation.
Note: if ponds are a part of the Reclamation Plan, slopes from 5 vertical feet above to 10
vertical feet below the expected average water level cannot be steeper than 3H:1V;remaining
slope lengths may not be steeper than 2HA V(see example sketch below).
......................_.....................................
5'
I
10, 1
1
