Whenever dissimilar metals come in contact with each other, or aluminum is <br />in contact with masonry, on surfaces of contact, provide a dissimilar metal <br />'- protection coating, Tneme-Tar 413 by Tnemec, or other approved type <br />protection. <br />- H. Retouch, in field, any scraped, abraded, and unpainted surfaces. Painting as <br />specified for shop coats. Painting specified here does not count as a coat <br />' for finish painting. <br />J. Shop painting will not be required for galvanized metal, stainless steel, <br />~ aluminum, copper, brass, and bronze unless specifically indicated. <br />(` 3.03 -Submittals <br />A. Manufacturer's Data, Miscellaneous Metal <br />For information only, submit copies of manufacturer's specifications, anchor <br />details and installation instructions for products to be used in fabrication of <br />miscellaneous metal work, including paint products. Indicate by transmittal <br />that copy of instructions has been distributed to Contractor's installer. <br />B. Shop Drawings, Miscellaneous Metal <br />r • <br />Submit shop drawings for fabrication and erection of miscellaneous metal <br />sr. assemblies. Include plans and elevations at not less than 1" to 1'-0" scale:, <br />~- and include details of sections and connections at not less than 3" to 1'-0" <br />L scale. Show anchorage and accessory items. <br />r 3.04 -Installation <br />l.- A. Set metal work level, true to line, plumb. <br />~ B. Shim and grout as necessary. Weld field connections and grind smooth. <br />L Where practicable, conceal fastenings. <br />C. Secure metal to concrete with embedded anchors, setting compounds, <br />caulking and sleeves, or setting grout.
