This location is within the sediment control
area of pond 13. This is an acceptable storage area, and potential use of this material.
RECLAMATION SUCCESS -Rule 4.15, Rule 3:
The Irrigated Cropland field on the Morgan property was in the process of being cut at the time of the
inspection.
ERMR was in the process of inter-seeding the areas previously identified by the farmer as having poor alfalfa
establishment. The farmer had been consulted prior to implementing the inter-seeding.
The landowner on the GW46 reclaimed irrigated pasture submitted a concern regarding uneven settlement of the
reclaimed haul road area on the north side of Section 6. The sprinklers were operating on the south side of this
reclaimed area at the time of the inspection. We did not encounter the area of concern on the north side of the
property or along the area that appeared to be the reclaimed haul road. If the area of concern was further to the
south,we were unable to access that portion of the field due to the irrigation sprinkler location. This area will be
located at the time of the SL25 bond release inspection, once it is scheduled. The landowner, or landowner's
representative should be able to show us the area of concern.
Irrigated pasture, IP-8, Bensons West, did not have the sprinklers going. It appeared that the pasture was ready to
cut. The grasses were up a good 18". No low ponded spots were observed in this field.
The Irrigated Pasture IP-9 &IP-11 (Lloyd pasture)had not been cut yet. This field looked good, and grasses
appeared healthy, though there was a small patch of Knapweed at the South east corner of this pasture. This patch
should be included in the operator's weed management efforts.
Number of Partial Inspection this Fiscal Year: 8
Number of Complete Inspections this Fiscal Year: 4
Page 3 of 9
