with a fast growing cover crop to minimize potential wind and water <br /> erosion. <br /> The local SCS office has made a recommendation of the preparation and <br /> revegetation of the site. Their recommendations will be followed to help <br /> establish a long lasting, self-sustaining plant community. This <br /> recommendation letter is included in Exhibit I. <br /> (e) (i) It is believed that the reclamation of slopes and floors in all phases <br /> from III to VII can be reclaimed with these steps in approximately 40 hours <br /> per Phase. <br /> (ii) <br /> Phase Approx. Contoured slopes at no more <br /> Acres than 3V:1H <br /> III 2.25 East wall <br /> IV 3.75 East and North wall <br /> V 3.50 North and West wall <br /> VI 2.05 West wall <br /> VH 5.29 South and East wall <br /> (iii) Beginning with Phase III and continuing thru Phase VII once <br /> each Phase has been mined the boundary walls will be sloped to the final <br /> contour and the floor will be graded to the proper drainage point. The <br /> ground will then be scarified and the topsoil/overburden will be spread over <br /> the graded area and seeded <br /> Per the original permitting process the road constructed across the Pickering <br /> Family LLC property from County Road 61 to the gravel pit will be a <br /> permanent access to the 100 acre parcel also owned by Pickering Family <br /> LLC. This road will not be reclaimed upon completion of the gravel pit <br /> operation. <br /> (f) (i) Final Grading - The proposed grading will create topography <br /> that is appropriate for the final end use selected for the site. The steepest <br /> slope proposed for the site will be 3H:IV. <br /> (ii) Seeding - will be done by either broadcast or drill in the fall <br /> (after Oct 1 11) or in the spring (before May I ) and the seed mixture will be <br /> 50% Smooth Brome, 50%Pubescent Wheat and spread at the rate of 7lbs <br /> per acre <br />
