Further measures that will be implemented include <br /> watering of all work surfaces and other earthen surfaces to arrest dust and <br /> particulate emissions, using vegetation to stabilize soil stockpiles,minimizing the <br /> amount of disturbed area, immediate reclaiming of all previously mined areas, <br /> and facility design which incorporates features such as berms,baghouses at all <br /> load out points to capture dust, and wash plants for aggregate. <br /> Section 8.12 Water Quality: The Health Department has also indicated the need <br /> for a discharge permit and has provided information regarding these permits. <br /> Applicant's Ground Water Sampling and Analysis Plan was approved by the <br /> Mined Land and Reclamation Board and was reviewed by the Division of <br /> Reclamation Mining and Safety ensure water qualify will be protected.
