Insure that daily safety <br /> inspections of equipment are occurring and documented. <br /> • Assure that supervisors are aware of and comply with safety requirements and conditions. <br /> • Investigates and reviews all incidents with management and first line supervisors. Identify cause <br /> and corrective measures. <br /> • Assist the safety department in Pre-Job planning to identify potential hazards and safety measures <br /> taken. <br /> • Require all Iron Woman personnel to comply with applicable site and OSHA safety regulations. <br /> • Conduct weekly safety tool box talks and submit to Health and Safety Officer. <br /> • Provide care for any injured employees, assures injuries are treated promptly and reported <br /> immediately. <br /> • Verify that the safety program is effective. <br /> • Report all claims to main office and assist with investigations. <br /> • Conduct daily Job Safety Analysis(JSA) and stretch&bends with all crew members. <br /> • Assure that all Iron Woman operators perform daily equipment walk-around <br /> • Lead crews by setting a positive example. <br /> • The following items shall be in vehicle and/or readily available at all times:first aid kit,SDS,trench <br /> box tabulated data, safety manual, site specific safety plan, JSA, crisis management plan and fire <br /> extinguisher <br /> All Iron Woman Employees <br /> Specific duties include: <br /> • Be familiar with and comply with proper safety and health practices. <br /> • Use the required safety equipment. <br /> • Notify supervisor immediately of unsafe conditions or acts or stop the work and correct unsafe <br /> condition or act. <br /> • Using good judgment to protect their personal safety as well as that of their co-workers. <br /> • Report all accidents and near misses to your supervisor immediately. <br /> 2.3 Employee Educations and Training <br /> All personnel on site will receive training from either the Safety Officer or Foreman on this site specific <br /> Safety,Health and Environmental Action Plan prior to beginning work on site. Each employee will then <br /> sign off that they have received and understand the training.Additionally,following the plan review a site <br /> orientation will occur. This site-specific training will be given to familiarize personnel with actual <br /> conditions and hazards,which may be encountered at the site. This will include familiarizing personnel <br /> with primary and secondary emergency escape routes,communications, and the emergency equipment <br /> location. Personnel are encouraged to report potential and actual problems to the site supervisor or site <br /> health and safety officer during the workday as well as during safety meetings.
