Stormwater Management Plan <br /> j. Non-industrial waste sources <br /> Worker trash will be removed from the site once a week. Generated waste will be <br /> removed from the site and disposed in a County or State approved waste disposal <br /> facilities. <br /> k. Other areas or procedures <br /> Absorbent socks and Chem-Dri or suitable alternatives will be stored in the Office or <br /> adjacent to aboveground storage tanks(ASTsO. <br /> Site personnel will provide notice to the Facility manager or his designated <br /> representative, immediately upon identification of a reportable spill. A spill report form <br /> is presented in Appendix-2. <br /> Petroleum products spills in excess of Reportable Quantities(RQs),will be reported by <br /> the Facility Manger or his designated representative,to the EPA National Response <br /> Center(1-800-424-8802),the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment <br /> (877-518-5608)and the Division of Reclamation,Mining and Safety(303-866-3567). <br /> INSPECTION AND MAINTENANCE <br /> a. Inspection Schedules <br /> a. During initial site activities,water control measures will be inspected at least once every <br /> fourteen(14)calendar days, and within 24 hours after the end of a precipitation or <br /> snowmelt event that causes surface erosion, ECMs will be inspected monthly from April <br /> through November thereafter <br /> b. During snowy months(November through May),water control measures will be <br /> inspected and maintained as field conditions dictate. The second year after water control <br /> measures are in place and following the first winter event, ECMs will be inspected <br /> quarterly until the first snow fall returns. <br /> c. Inspection Procedures <br /> • Verify and maintain the integrity of,wattles,erosion control blankets(USEPA, 1992), <br /> swales,and check dams(US EPA, 1992)(VDCR, 2005). <br /> • Identify and repair rills and gullies that are greater than twelve(12)inches deep;and <br /> • Record site maintenance activities. <br /> d.
