2.4.3.4.1 Power Supply

<br /> transmission and distribution lines. One of the 13.2 kV circuits runs along Temple Canyon Road up to the old
<br /> scrap yard.This is designated by Black Hills as South Canon feeder 64021. Beyond this pole runs a single
<br /> phase that extends to the cell phone tower. Black Hills proposes that this line from the intersection of Temple
<br /> Canyon Rd and Mariposa Rd be re-conducted and extended to the site."
<br /> (DRMS regulations relative to Mining Permit applications state that the applicant must provide,"...a statement
<br /> identifying which of the following permits, licenses and approvals which are held or will be sought in order to
<br /> conduct the proposed mining and reclamation operations:effluent discharge permits,air quality emissions
<br /> permits, radioactive source materials licenses,disposal of dredge and fill material(404)permits, permit to
<br /> construct a dam,well permits,explosives permits, State Historic Preservation Office clearance, highway access
<br /> permits, U.S. Forest Service permits, Bureau of Land Management permits,county zoning and land use
<br /> permits,and city zoning and land use permits."

<br /> 2.4.3.4.4 Communications
<br /> "Telephone and internet services will be provided to the site by a local supplier in Canon City.
<br /> A leaky feeder-type radio communication system is planned to be installed along with a wired phone system for
<br /> on-site communications."

<br /> proceeding onto the Fremont Placer,owned by Zephyr.The haul road will be
<br /> approximately 40 ft.wide including three ft.drainage ditch on each side.The subsurface will be compacted
<br /> native soil and surfaced with nine to 12 inches of compacted aggregate or road base.The location of the haul
<br /> road at the mine facility may vary during the life of the mine but the haul road from FCR 3 to the mill will be
<br /> consistent throughout the life of the mine.The haul road will accommodate hauling and support two-way traffic."
