Walstrum Spur Amendment, Exhibit E— Reclamation Plan April 2021
6.0 RECLAMATION SCHEDULE
6.4.5(2)(e) A plan or schedule indicating how and when reclamation will be implemented. Such plan or schedule
shall not be tied to any specific date but shall be tied to implementation or completion of different stages of the
mining operation as described in Rule 6.4.4(e). The plan or schedule sha// include:
6.4.5(2)(e)(i) An estimate of the periods of time which will be required for the various stages or phases of
reclamation;
6.4.5(2)(e)(ii) A description of the size and location of each area to be reclaimed during each phase; and
6.4.5(2)(e)(iii) An outline of the sequence in which each stage or phase of reclamation will be carried out.
Reclamation within the Existing Quarry will occur as previously approved. Parcel 62, added as part of the Spur
Amendment, will be reclaimed in conjunction with the reclamation of the adjacent Existing Quarry West Slope
Section. The eastern one-third of Parcel A1, added as part of the Spur Amendment, will be reclaimed as
Industrial/Commercial/Public Gathering in conjunction with the reclamation of the adjacent Existing Quarry North
Slope Section (see Exhibit F-1).
Reclamation on benched areas in the Spur Amendment will occur concurrently with the mining operation. Once
each bench is mined to its finished elevation, the Operator will begin mining the next lower level while simultaneously
reclaiming the previously finished bench.
7.0 RECLAMATION DETAILS
6.4.5(2)(f) A description of each of the following:
6.4.5(2)(f)(i) Final grading - specify maximum anticipated slope gradient or expected ranges thereof,
6.4.5(2)(f)(ii) Seeding - specify types, mixtures, quantities, and expected time(s) of seeding and planting;
6.4.5(2)(f)(iii) Fertilization - if applicable, specify types, mixtures, quantities and fime of application;
6.4.5(2)(f)(iv) Revegetation - specify types of trees, shrubs, etc., quantities, size and location; and
6.4.5(2)(f)(v) Topsoiling - specify anticipated minimum depth or range of depths for those areas where topsoil will
be replaced
7.1 Final Grading
Grading will be performed to create a final topography appropriate to the planned post-mining land use and mimic
surrounding natural slopes and cliffs. All grading will be done in a manner to control erosion and to protect areas
outside the affected lands from slides or other damage. All backfilling and grading will be completed as soon as
feasible after the mining process has been completed.
Reclaimed Quarry Floor
The final quarry floor will be sloped down at approximately 0.5% to 0.6% from east to west to establish positive
drainage to the main entrance at an approximate elevation of 7,220 feet. Stormwater Best Management Practices
(BMP's) will be installed near the main entrance for treatment prior to discharge under the existing stormwater
discharge permit. Finished grades are presented in Exhibit F(F-1 and F-2). The toe of the completed slopes within
the Existing Quarry will be at an approximate elevation of 7,240 feet. The quarry floor will be graded for future use
and stabilized against erosion to maintain the surface and drainage. The toe of mined slopes will progressively
increase towards the eastern end of the Spur Amendment to a maximum toe elevation of 7,270 feet. Typical sections
for reclaimed slopes are illustrated in Exhibit F(F-1 and F-2).
Slope Reclamation within Spur Amendment
The reclaimed slopes within the Spur Amendment will have an overall maximum slope of 1 H:1V above an elevation
of 8,000 feet and 0.6H:1V below 8,000 feet. After mining is completed, the mined slopes that have not been
 TETRA TECH P a g e 6  7
