Surface material will be loose and rough textured via <br /> disc or ripper application just prior to planting. <br /> Wood chip mulch will be applied at a rate of 2000#/acre. Soil testing every 3 years will help to monitor <br /> nitrogen and other nutrient levels that may need adjustment due to decomposition of woody mulch <br /> material over time. <br /> Buildings and Other Structures <br /> The portable scale and supporting structure will be removed from the site after mining. <br /> A 24'x 40'framed building, located on the north end of the original permit area,will remain after <br /> mining. This building is used for general storage of maintenance supplies used by the mine operator for <br /> equipment used at other job locations not associated with this mine operation. <br /> The main road into the site from County Road 123 south to the present scale house location will remain <br /> after mining . The roadway may be extended to the east and south to access the additional forty acres <br /> of mining ground. The extended final road will be 22'wide or less, limited to small vehicle access for <br /> vegetative maintenance purposes. <br />
