(5) Planting medium and back-fill material are more or less the same material, reducing the risk of <br /> differential compaction rates or surface soil slippage. Nevertheless,final grading of back-fill material <br /> prior to planting medium application will have with a rough dozer pack footprint from compaction <br /> operation. <br /> (6) The operator maintains that sufficient quantity and quality planting medium is available at this site <br /> to complete all back-filling, re-grading and re-vegetation work on all affected land. <br /> (7) Soil testing will be performed and fertilizer applied as directed by NCRS recommendation for non- <br /> irrigated graze land. <br /> (8) Any vegetation piles that might be the result of stripping operations will be removed from the site or <br /> mulched for re-vegetation purposes. <br /> Rule 3.1.10 Revegetation <br /> (1) Re-vegetation efforts will be oriented to the establishment of a community of native grasses <br /> listed in the original application submittal. Seeding and mulching will be scheduled as soon as <br /> possible after final grading of each phase area. Surface manipulation via bulldozer ripper or disc <br /> operation)will be performed immediately prior to broadcast seeding and mulch application. <br /> No fertilizer application is planned unless soil tests show deficiencies in NKP. <br /> (2) No tree or shrub planting is planned for this site. <br /> (3) The final grade specification of 4:1 in the Osborn tract and 3:1 on the remaining reclaimed areas <br /> is suitable for livestock use. <br /> (4) Grazing will not commence on reclaimed lands until the landowner, NRCS field personnel,and <br /> DRMS Environmental Protection Specialist have agreed that the grass land development has <br /> progressed to a sustainable level. <br />
