Page 12
5 Reclamation Plan
Reclamation will be completed to the standards described in 43 CFR 3809.420.
Within the Active Mining Area, all equipment and materials will be dismantled and removed from the
site,to be disposed of at an authorized land fill or recycled.
Access control of the grate/portal will be returned to the BLM/DRMS.
There are no riparian areas that will be affected by the Project. There are no acid-forming,toxic,
chemicals,or deleterious material associated with the Project. There are no temporary structures,
buildings, or support facilities associated with the Siberia Project that will need be removed during
reclamation.
5.1 Schedule of Reclamation
Miners Mall will conduct reclamation of disturbed areas associated with the mining activities.
Concurrent reclamation will be completed as feasible. Seeding for revegetation will occur in the spring
immediately following completion of recontouring/earthwork. Monitoring of reseeded areas will occur
in the spring and fall each year until the BLM and DRMS deem that vegetation has recovered sufficiently
for the Project to be closed. Where it has been determined that revegetation success has not been met,
the BLM and the operator will meet to decide on the best course(s)of action necessary to meet the
reclamation goal.
5.2 Post Mining Land Use
Reclamation activities will be designed to achieve post mining land uses consistent with the BLM's land
use management plans for the area. Post-mining land use includes wildlife habitat, hunting and
dispersed recreation.
5.3 Buildings,Structures and Equipment Removal
No buildings or temporary structures will be built. All equipment, tools, and supplies will be removed
following mining activities. Other materials, including scrap and trash will be removed daily and
disposed of off-site in accordance with federal and state regulations and laws.
5.4 Post Closure Management
The goal of Miners Mall is to return the Project Area to a natural, safe, maintenance-free condition.
Annual vegetation surveys will be conducted with the BLM to monitor revegetation success and
determine when the full reclamation has been achieved.
