RECLAMATION PLAN (CONT) EXHIBIT E September 2019 3 . 1 .7 Ground Water - Specific Requirements (1) Standards and conditions applicable to classified and unclassified groundwater: Water quality and quantity will not be affected by this opera- tion. This operation will not interfere with the historic pattern of the drainage . No water will be exposed during mining and a 2 foot minimum cover will be maintained over the ground water table if encountered. (2) Establishing permit conditions, including numeric protec- tion levels, Protective of unclassified groundwater uses : This operation will not require any permits for either ground- water or surface water. 3 . 1. 8 Wildlife This operation has had no affect on the wildlife of the area and none is anticipated in the future . This operation is small enough that it does not affect the wildlife on the land owned by the operator. 3 . 1. 9 Topsoiling (1) Topsoil removed from the upland areas will be stockpiled for more than one (1) growing season on both the north and south pit perimeters so it will only have to be moved once . If the material is to be in stockpiles for more than one (1) growing season the stockpiles will be temporarily seeded using the approved mix at a rate of 20 lbs per acre . This will control erosion and preserve the integrity of the material . (2) Mining on the affected lands will disturb little or no woody vegetation. If any large volumes of woody vegetation are encoun- tered, they will be placed in areas segregated, from the stock- piles of topsoil . (3) Stockpiles will be configured to minimize erosion and will be located where there will be no disturbance by continuing mining operations or in the channel of Sand Arroyo . As stated in 3 .1 . 9 Topsoiling (1) above, if necessary stockpiles will be seeded for preservation to preserve the integrity of the material . (4) It is planned to locate stockpiles so material will only have to be handled once . 16 (REVISED 3/612020)
