CCV Emei-geneN Response Plan <br /> NORTH AMFPICA <br /> (b) If the fire burned through a wall, ceiling, or caused apparent damage to the building or <br /> structural steel, the Emergency Response Team must be called to ensure the fire is <br /> completely out. <br /> (c) Remember: Do not put yourself at risk; Never enter a smoke filled environment. <br /> 5.13.2.2 Large Uncontrollable Fires: <br /> If you cannot put it out quickly, activate the fire alarm nearest you and evacuate. <br /> (a) Isolate the fire by closing doors, if possible. <br /> (b) Pull the fire alarm lever in alarm box if available in your area. <br /> (c) Shut off gas and power supply, if possible. <br /> (d) Notify the immediate supervisor. The supervisor will notify HSLP <br /> (e) Evacuate the area. <br /> 5.13.3 Emergency response team: All of the hydrants are equipped with water cannons. If the structure <br /> on fire is beyond saving, your efforts should be concentrated on saving surrounding structures. <br /> 5.13.4 The Carlton Security is responsible for: <br /> (a) Requesting and ensuring radio silence. Activate the Code 90 Procedure. <br /> (b) Calling for the response of all emergency personnel needed <br /> (c) Report wild land fires to the Teller County Dispatch, 719-687-9652. <br /> (d) Providing unobstructed access to and from the scene for emergency personnel and <br /> equipment. <br /> (e) Provide additional support to Emergency Response Team. <br /> (f) Coordinate governmental mutual aid requests with Team Captain. <br /> (g) Notifying Security, HSLP and Management. <br /> 5.13.5 Tell Carlton Security <br /> (a) Your name and location. <br /> (b) Give the location of the fire. <br /> (c) Tell what is burning. <br /> (d) Give the size of the fire, direction, and spread if known. <br /> (e) Determine if toxic chemicals may be involved. <br /> (f) Report on efforts taken to control the fire. <br /> (g) Number of injured personnel. <br /> (h) Type of injuries. <br /> (i) Type of help needed. <br /> 0) Do not hang up until you are told to do so <br /> 5.13.6 All fires that last more than 30 minutes must be reported to the HSLP manager.
