The Captain has the <br /> right to refuse any tasks they consider is an unacceptable risk to the team. <br /> 4.2.7 Emergency Response Team Captain <br /> The Emergency Response Team Captains report directly to the Team Trainer or their designee in <br /> an emergency. The Emergency Response Team Captain directs action in the emergency, <br /> initiates appropriate action to minimize the effects of injury at the accident scene and care for <br /> those injured. The Captain has the right to refuse any tasks he considers are an unacceptable <br /> risk to the team. Team Captains will coordinate all efforts with the Supervisor in Charge for a <br /> unified command. <br /> 4.2.8 Emergency Response Team: ERT <br /> The Emergency Response Team will report immediately to the Emergency Response Team <br /> Captain /Co Captain unless already involved at the scene of the emergency. Personnel with <br /> appropriate First Aid training may be required to stand by to treat the injured and will report to the <br /> Team Captain. Team members also have the right to refuse any assignment they feel is unsafe. <br /> N <br /> DIRECTI 50 O <br /> All employees, vendors, contractors, and visitors traveling/working on site shall comply with and <br /> ensure personnel accountable to them comply with the following requirements of this plan. <br /> 5.1 Objectives <br /> 5.1.1 The objectives of this Emergency Response Plan are to: <br /> a Provide an effective response to emergency situations. <br /> O P 9 Y <br /> (b) Establish responsibilities levels and support coordination. <br /> (c) Minimize the effect of emergencies on personnel, on the surrounding communities, and on <br /> public. <br /> (d) Prevent injury, property damage, and damage to equipment, damage to environment and <br /> losses to process that result from emergencies. <br /> (e) Ensure the cooperation with government and outside agencies. <br /> (f) Provide suitable information to be conveyed to the public using the external relations contact. <br /> 5.2 Communication <br /> 5.2.1 Emergency Communications: In The Event of an Emergency: <br /> (a) Immediately establish Radio contact through the Code 90 Procedure. <br /> (b) If the emergency is at the Carlton Security or affects Carlton security the emergency will be <br /> ran through the Ironclad security at 719-689-4127 or R-1 on the radio. <br /> 5.2.2 Remember, do not hang up until this information has been given and remain on the line to make <br /> further arrangements. <br /> (a) Do not call the local media to report the emergency.
