Standard OperatingProcedure <br /> NEWMONT. Heavy Equipment fueling <br /> CC&V Mine Operations <br /> 9.14.1 The fuel nozzle is now locked in the open position. <br /> 9.15 Operator shall remain next to the pump switch watching the fueling process in <br /> case the pump needs to be shut off or the emergency stop needs to be pressed. <br /> 9.16 When the fuel tank is full the fueling head handle will release and will move <br /> down, but does not lock off. <br /> 9.17 Push the pump switch to the off position. <br /> 9.18 Push the fueling head handle down so that it clicks and is now locked in the off <br /> position. <br /> 9.19 Remove fueling head by pulling on the quick release and pulling the nozzle from <br /> the wiggins. <br /> 9.19.1 Return the cap to the wiggins on the fuel tank. <br /> 9.20 Properly store the fuel nozzle head in the black drip box and replace hose to its <br /> proper location. <br /> 9.21 If DEF is required. (fill only after fueling is finished) <br /> 9.21.1 Adhere to all warning labels and warning signs. Know how to access the <br /> SDS documentation. <br /> 9.21.2 Wear all PPE including rubber gloves. <br /> 9.21.3 Clean the DEF cap with a clean lint free cloth before removing <br /> 9.21.4 Dispensing nozzle is equipped with an auto shut off to eliminate overflow. <br /> 9.21.5 When filling is completed return hose and nozzle to the storage cabinet. <br /> 9.22 Read the fuel gallons on the gallon counter. <br /> 9.23 Place used cloth and used gloves into the trash. <br /> 9.24 Do a walk around to check for any personnel, remove chocks and lock and return <br /> to cab. <br /> 9.25 Enter fuel gallons into Minestar.
