Section 4.6.2 <br /> Section 4.7.2 <br /> Section 4.8.2 <br /> Section 4.9.3 <br /> 112.7(c) Provide one of the following to prevent discharged oil from reaching navigable <br /> waters: <br /> 112.7(c)(1) (i) dikes, berms, or retaining walls(sufficiently impervious); <br /> (ii) curbing or drip pans; <br /> (iii) culverts,gutters, or other drainage systems; <br /> (iv) weirs, booms,or other barriers; Tables 3-10 <br /> (v) spill diversion ponds; <br /> (vi) retention ponds;and/or <br /> (vii) sorbent materials. <br /> 112.7(d) If the installation of structures or equipment listed in the sections identified in this <br /> section is not practicable as determined by the Facility: <br /> clearly explain why the measures are not practicable,and Section 1.2.2 <br /> conduct periodic integrity testing for bulk storage containers and leak testing of <br /> valves and piping. <br /> 112.7(d)(1) Unless you have submitted a Facility response plan under 40 CFR 112.20, provide: <br /> 112.7(d)(2) an oil spill contingency plan following 40 CFR 109;and Section 2.1 <br /> a written commitment of manpower, equipment, and materials. <br /> 112.7(e) Conduct inspections in accordance with inspection procedures <br /> included in the plan; Section 3.5 <br /> have the inspections signed by the appropriate inspector/supervisor; Appendix E <br /> keep a record of the inspections in the plan for 3 years. <br /> 112.7(f)(1) Train the oil handling personnel in the operation and maintenance of equipment to <br /> prevent discharges, discharge procedure protocols, pollution control laws, Section 3.8 <br /> regulations, and the contents of the plan. <br /> 112.7(f)(2) Designate a person accountable for discharge prevention who reports to Facility Section 2.1 <br /> management.
