This
structure is approximately 450 feet from the west slope of the mine pit. Because the factors of
safety for a structure closer to the quarry slopes is above the minimum target FS, it is assumed that
this stricture is safe from damage due to active mining operations.
Structure #10-Hogan Property Pond 2
This stricture is owned by the Hogan family and appears to be used for livestock or crops. This
structure is approximately 520 feet from the west slope of the mine pit. Because the factors of
safety for a stricture closer to the quarry slopes is above the minimum target FS,it is assumed that
this structure is safe from damage due to active mining operations.
Structure #I -Arcosa LWB Facility Office
This stricture is owned by Arcosa and is part of the facility mining operations. This structure is
approximately 970 feet from the east slope of the mine pit. Because the factors of safety for a
stricture closer to the mine pit slopes is above the minimum target FS, it is assumed that this
structure is safe from damage due to active mining operations.
Structure #12 -Arcosa Processing Facility Buildings (nearest to Pit)
Arcosa owns and operates multiple buildings within the Facility Processing Area. Collectively
these strictures are identified as one structure on Figure S-2. The closest of the buildings is
approximately 970 feet from the east slope of the quarry. Because the factors of safety for a
structure closer to the mine pit slopes is above the minimum target FS, it is assumed that this
stricture is safe from damage due to active mining operations.
Structure # 13 -American Contract Miners Storage Yard
The American Contract Miners Storage Yard contains several structures, owned by the company
of the same name, that are semi-permanent storage units. Collectively, these structures are
identified as one structure on Figure S-2. The closest of these is approximately 825 feet from the
east slope of the quarry. Because the factors of safety for a structure closer to the mine pit slopes
is above the minimum target FS, it is assumed that this structure is safe from damage due to active
mining operations.
Structure #14-Arcosa Railroad Tracks
Structures Evaluation
Arcosa LWB Plan—Permit Amendment 2019-07-16
