This structure <br /> is approximately 1,165 feet from the southeast slope of the mine pit. Because the factors of safety <br /> for a stricture closer to the quarry slopes is above the minimum target FS, it is assumed that this <br /> structure is safe from damage due to active mining operations. <br /> Structure #15-Electrical Substation <br /> This structure is owned by the US Department of Energy and consists of high voltage electrical <br /> equipment and transmission lines. This structure is approximately 1,840 feet from the southeast <br /> slope of the quarry. Because the factors of safety for a stricture closer to the mine pit slopes is <br /> above the minimum target FS, it is assumed that this structure is safe from damage due to active <br /> mining operations. <br /> Structure #16-Former Concrete Manufacturing Facility Concrete Pad <br /> This structure is owned by Arcosa and consists of a concrete pad and foundations and abandoned <br /> pad-mounted junction boxes. This structure also consists of a concrete wall used for aggregate <br /> storage. This stricture is approximately 1,810 feet from the southeast slope of the quarry. Because <br /> the factors of safety for a stricture closer to the mine pit slopes is above the minimum target FS, <br /> it is assumed that this structure is safe from damage due to active mining operations. <br /> Structure #17-Hogan Residence Buildings <br /> This structure is part of the Hogan family residence. The driveway and yard are the portions that <br /> fall within 200 feet of the permit boundary. This structure is approximately 1,640 feet from the <br /> southeast slope of the quarry. Because the factors of safety for a structure closer to the mine pit <br /> slopes is above the minimum target FS, it is assumed that this structure is safe from damage due <br /> to active mining operations. <br /> Structure #18- Olde Tyme Sawmill Buildings <br /> This structure is owned by Olde Tyme Sawmill and consists of various out buildings and an <br /> electrical utility pole and powerline. Collectively, these structures are identified as stricture 18 on <br /> Figure S-3.The closest structure is approximately 2,830 feet from the southeast slope of the quarry. <br /> Because the factors of safety for a structure closer to the mine pit slopes is above the minimum <br /> target FS, it is assumed that this stricture is safe from damage due to active mining operations. <br /> Structure #19-Rocky Flats Lounge <br /> This structure is owned by the Hogan family and consists of one building with a parking lot.
