C-4
MAJOR PROJECT COMPONENTS
The following provides detailed discussion of each major component of the Keenesburg Project in order to preface
the(thereafter following) specific informational requirements of Rule 6.6.3,Parts(a)through(p), respectively.
Mining Operations
The general pit layout and pit cross-sections are depicted in Figure C-1: Site Layout. As shown thereon, the main
mine pit will encompass an excavation area approximately 575 ft. in length(west to east)by approximately 235 ft.
in width(south to north),with a nominal depth of approximately 25 ft. below average existing surface elevation.
Mining will be conducted via a two-bench, open-cut mining method employing hydraulic excavator and/or front
end loader units for excavation and loading of ROM material to dedicated off-road haul truck(s). The haul truck(s)
will then ramp up out of the pit for a nominal 150 to 200-ft. haul distance to deliver the ROM material to a ROM
stockpile area situated proximal to the feed-bin for the wet processing plant.
Equipment: The mining equipment roster to be employed at the Keenesburg Project is anticipated to include the
following representative units:
Keenesburg Project—Limited Impact 110 Application_May 24,2019
