C-3
The Keenesburg Project plant and loadout operations are anticipated to operate on a 24-hour basis, seven days per
week. Two 12-hour shifts per day are planned; and, an estimated maximum of fifteen(15)persons are anticipated
for each shift. The breakdown of the onsite personnel(per shift)is anticipated to be two(2)management personnel
and thirteen (13) laborers. Reduced operating hour schedules may be employed if production and/or market
conditions require such.
CSC estimates that,at full-scale operations,an average of approximately 1,600 tons per day of saleable product will
be loaded, resulting in an estimated total of 72 round-trip truck-trips per day. In addition to this, maintenance and
service vehicles and material/supply delivery vehicles are anticipated to add another 10 to 20 round-trip truck-trips
per day, on average.
Based on the identified resource base and an anticipated rapid ramp-up to full-scale production, the estimated or
projected life-of-mine is expected to be less than one (1) year in duration, to include: all site and facilities
construction(estimated at approximately 2 months duration); initial start-up through full-scale production estimated
at approximately 4 months duration (with the effective "production period" representing 3-months of "dryer
operating time"); and, site closure (tear-down and removal) and reclamation (recontouring and revegetation)
activities(estimated at approximately 2 to 3 months duration).
Subsequent to this, CSC anticipates a five-year post-closure monitoring period in order to ensure final site
stabilization and return of the affected area to its post-mining land use of rangeland, with an emphasis on livestock
grazing.
Keenesburg Project—Limited Impact 110 Application_May 24,2019
