B-14
While the Permit Area boundary is clearly within 200-ft. of each of the foregoing features/structures,
all mine pit excavation and processing activities will be sited interior to the Permit Area such that there
will be limited potential for damage to occur. Due to the nature of planned mining activities (i.e., no
blasting is proposed; refer to Exhibit C: Mining Plan), no adverse impacts to the ranch service road,
water well, distribution line, or power line structures are anticipated.
CSC will ensure that all necessary clearance provisions are incorporated into mine operations plans and
adhered to by all mine operations personnel, as may be required per Mine Safety and Health
Administration(MSHA)regulations and/or guidelines.
13) Other:
CSC is aware of three additional easements (currently absent any structures) that are pending
recordation and which run west to east, located generally parallel and adjacent to the Section 12 south
line. These easements are believed to be associated with Colorado Interstate Gas Company LLC,
Rocky Mountain Mid-Stream LLC, and United Power, Inc., respectively. These proposed easements
appear to be located at a distance of 125-ft. or greater to the south of the Permit Area, and given that
all mine pit excavation and processing activities will be sited interior to the Permit Area, there will be
limited potential for damage to occur. Due to the nature of planned mining activities (i.e., no blasting
is proposed; refer to Exhibit C: Mining Plan), no adverse impacts anticipated. CSC will, however,
monitor the status of any construction activities associated with the subject pending easements and in
the event structures are erected during the duration of mining activities, appropriate structure
agreements will be secured and provided to DRMS.
(c) WATER RESOURCES
Both regional and localized drainage in the area is to the northeast;however, due to the nature of the surficial
soils, which are primarily eolian sands, and the(localized)gentle slope gradient, the area is subject to rapid
infiltration. An ephemeral drainage feature named Ennis Draw (which is depicted on the USGS "Klug
Ranch, Colorado' and "Tampa, Colorado' 7.50 topographic quadrangles, respectively), is located
approximately one mile to the east of the Permit Area.
Due to both the nature of the Project(as further defined in Exhibit C: Mining Plan)and readily observable
site characteristics, documentation of regional and localized water resources has been completed through a
Keenesburg Project_Limited Impact 110 Application_May 24,2019
