PART I <br /> Permit No.: COR400000 <br /> v. The applicant(s) must submit a complete, accurate, and signed permit application <br /> electronically, by mail or hand delivery to the division at least 10 days prior to the <br /> commencement of construction activity except that construction activities that are <br /> in response to a public emergency related site shall apply for coverage no later <br /> than 14 days after the commencement of construction activities. The provisions of <br /> this part in no way remove a violation of the Colorado Water Quality Control Act if <br /> a point source discharge occurs prior to the issuance of a CDPS permit. <br /> vi. The application must be signed in accordance with the requirements of Part IA. <br /> Applications submitted by mail or hand delivered should be directed to: <br /> Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment <br /> Water Quality Control Division <br /> Permits Section, WQCD-PS-B2 <br /> 4300 Cherry Creek Drive South <br /> Denver, CO 80246 <br /> vii. The applicant(s) must receive written notification that the division granted permit <br /> coverage prior to conducting construction activities except for construction <br /> activities that are in response to a public emergency related site <br /> c. Division Review of Permit Application <br /> Within 10 days of receipt of the application, and following review of the application, <br /> the division may: <br /> i. Issue a certification of coverage; <br /> ii. request additional information necessary to evaluate the discharge; <br /> iii. delay the authorization to discharge pending further review; <br /> iv. notify the applicant that additional terms and conditions are necessary; or <br /> v. deny the authorization to discharge under this general permit. <br /> d. Alternative Permit Coverage <br /> i. Division Required Alternate Permit Coverage: <br /> The Division may require an applicant or permittee to apply for an individual <br /> permit or an alternative general permit if it determines the discharge does not fall <br /> under the scope of this general permit. In this case, the Division will notify the <br /> applicant or permittee that an individual permit application is required. <br /> ii. Permittee Request for alternate permit coverage: <br /> A permittee authorized to discharge stormwater under this permit may request to <br /> be excluded from coverage under this general permit by applying for an individual <br /> permit. In this case, the permittee must submit an individual application, with <br /> reasons supporting the request, to the Division at least 180 days prior to any <br /> discharge. When an individual permit is issued, the permittee's authorization to <br /> discharge under this permit is terminated on the effective date of the individual <br /> permit. <br /> e.
