The operation of the OTRP will be in compliance with all federal and Colorado water <br /> quality laws and regulations as required by Section 3.1.6(1)(b). There will be no <br /> discharges of process water to any surface or ground water system. We will obtain and <br /> implement the appropriate Stormwater Management, Best Management Practices as <br /> outlined in the Stormwater Management Plan. <br /> (c) compliance with applicable federal and Colorado dredge and fill requirement, <br /> and <br /> There are no wetlands, and there will not be any filling of wetland or removal of <br /> material from wetlands. <br /> (d) removing temporary or large siltation structures from drainageways after <br /> disturbed areas are revegetated and stabilized, if required by the Reclamation Plan. <br /> No temporary or large siltation structures are planned for the Operation. <br /> (2) Earth dams, if necessary to impound water, may be constructed if the formation <br /> of such impoundments will not damage adjoining property or conflict with water pollution <br /> laws, rules or regulations of the federal government, the state of Colorado or with any <br /> local government pollution ordinances. <br /> No earth dams are proposed for the Operation. <br /> (3) All surface areas of the affected land, including spoil piles,shall be stabilized and <br /> protected so as to effectively control erosion. <br /> The implementation of the Stormwater Management Plan will effectively stabilize the <br /> affected areas and control erosion. Once the waste material is removed the site will be <br /> reclaimed. <br /> (4) The Office may require the submission of baseline site characterization data, <br /> sufficient to ensure that impacts from prospecting will be detected,prior to the initiation of <br /> prospecting or mining, including but not limited to ambient groundwater and surface <br /> water quality data sufficient to characterize potentially impacted water. <br /> A normally dry, ephemeral drainage crosses the property. There are no natural sources of <br /> water on the site for sampling. <br /> (S) Drilling pits used during prospecting or mining ... <br /> Not applicable. <br /> 3.1.7 Groundwater—Specific Requirements <br /> (1) Standards and conditions applicable to classified and unclassified groundwater. <br /> 46 <br />
