(a) State wide groundwater quality standards: Operators that may affect <br /> groundwater quality shall comply with all state wide groundwater quality <br /> standards established by the Water Quality Control Commission (hereafter, the <br /> WQCC). <br /> We do not expect to impact regional ground waters. Removal of the waste dump <br /> materials should improve any discharges to ground water once the site is in the <br /> beginning stages of reclamation. <br /> (b) Classified areas <br /> (c) Unclassified areas: Operations that may affect the quality of groundwater <br /> which has not been classified by the WQCC shall protect the existing and <br /> reasonably potential future uses of such ground water. <br /> The ground water is unclassified. Removal of the waste rock material and site <br /> reclamation should improve existing and future ground water quality. <br /> (d) Water quality standards applicable to groundwater that has been <br /> classified,... <br /> Not applicable,the area is not classified. <br /> (e) For any in situ leach mining operations: <br /> The provisions (e), (f) and(g) are not applicable since this is not an in situ leach <br /> mining operation. <br /> (2) Establishing permit, or notice of intent to conduct prospecting(NOI) conditions, <br /> including numeric protection levels,protective of unclassified groundwater uses. <br /> This regulation is not applicable since the intent is to remove the source of potential <br /> contamination to ground water and improve its quality. <br /> (3) Procedures for establishing permit or NOI conditions to protect the quality of <br /> unclassified groundwater. <br /> This regulation is not applicable since the intent is to remove the source of potential <br /> contamination to ground water and improve its quality. <br /> (4) Procedures for establishing compliance with standards promulgated by the <br /> WQCC. <br /> This section is not applicable. <br /> 47 <br />
