(7) Water Surge Tank <br />• This structure holds raw water from Mine Number 1 and is connected by <br />a 4 -inch schedule 40 line to the water tower (see item 16). It is a <br />6 -foot diameter, 31 -foot long cylindrical steel plate horizontal tank <br />on a steel plate foundation with a 6,500 -gallon capacity. The tank <br />has no openings from which persons could obtain water to drink, and <br />presents no potential hazards to the environment or public safety. <br />(8) <br />Electrical Substation <br />The electrical substation consists of a 35' x 28' enclosure in which <br />electrical works are contained by a padlocked, 8 -foot high, steel mesh <br />fence. A fire extinguisher is strategically located, and the struc- <br />ture is posted "Danger, High Voltage". <br />(9) Electrical Substation <br />• This substation is similar to Item 8, except that it is smaller in <br />size (10' x 13'). It is posted "Danger, High Voltage", padlocked, and <br />contains a fire extinguisher. <br />(10) Vent Fan Building Number 1 <br />This structure is identical to that described in Item 6, vent fan <br />building Number 3, and similarly poses no threat to the environment or <br />to public health and safety. <br />(11) Compressor Building <br />Except for its larger size (30' x 20' x 12' high), this building is <br />identical to the building described in Item 4, and is posted in the <br />same manner. <br />4-7 <br />
