are completed in the R seam area.
All wells except well GD-2 exhibit very similar values for transmissivity
ranging from 4.5 gal/day/ft to 22 gal/day/ft and an average permeability value of
.OS ft/day. These values show that the QR aquifer exhibits small transmitting
properties with very similar properties from the eastern area to the western area.
This is possibly due to the depth of the QR aquifer being deep enough to have not
been affected by the weathering process.
Well GD-2 exhibits a much higher transmissivity at 2240 gpd/ft. The
transmitting ability of the QR aquifer in this area is thought to have been affected
by the mining up-dip in the Q and R seams.
KLM Aou if er
Aquifer tests on wells GA-2, GB-1, GP-2, GP-4 and GP-8 were used to define the
transmitting properties of the KLM aquifer throughout Trapper Mine.
Transmiasivities and permeabilities of the KLM aquifer found through these aquifer
tests range from 6 gal/day/ft to 52 gal/day/ft and ,O1 ft/day to 1.12 ft/day,
respectively.
Wells GA-2, GB-1 and GP-4 exhibit very similar transmissivity values near 23
gal/day/ft, while GP-8 and GP-2 present values for transmissivity of 6 gal/day/ft
and 54 gal/day/ft, respectively. These values indicate [he KLM aquifer shows low
transmitting ability with an average transmissivity of 25 gal/day/ft and
permeability of 0.28 ft/day.
i~
2-462h i
~9115E~ FE8 13 '87
