Please specify the <br />anticipated minimum depth or range of depths topsoil will be replaced over the affected <br />area. <br />Response 21a <br />A minimum of three feet of growth media will be placed over the affected areas with the <br />top six inches being topsoil. Existing topsoil on site has been inventoried, and the <br />existing quantity verified to balance with the final needs for reclamation. <br />Comment 21b <br />The Division agrees that at least three feet of growth media would be appropriate to <br />replace within the reclaimed area. However, only designating the top six inches of <br />material as topsoil is not representative of the topsoil material available at the site based <br />on the response to Comment 45.
