o. Shop Building, Fuel Storage, Equipment
i. Survey building contents and materials to determine various disposal
requirements
ii. Remove equipment and debris, dispose of at proper offsite facilities
iii. Shop building — leave as permanent (per county approval) or demolish
and haul salvage metal offsite
iv. Revegetation seeding of facility area
p. Haul Road and Access Road
i. Stabilize to USFS requirements — account for drainage and width, per
USFS management plans
ii. Remove or barricade sections as required by USFS management plans
q. Miscellaneous Features
i. Remove any above -ground electrical facilities owned by HMC
ii. Access gates as needed; fencing as needed (for livestock or safety)
3. Near-term Reclamation Activitv Priorities and Necessities — Next 5 Years
a. Continuing/Ongoing Work of existing activities
i. Groundwater Monitoring, Piezometers: Demonstrate history of
consistent depth measurements, indicating stability of waste dumps.
Discuss eliminating required GW monitoring wherever possible
ii. Surface Water Monitoring at SW -33: Continue as long as required by
WQCD
iii. Continue discussions with WQCD for defining WQ standards and
LPLs, in order to complete Reclamation Plan Amendment for DRMS
iv. Slope Movement Surveys: continue annual Survey, inclinometers,
explore implementing new "InSAR" survey (see below)
V. Define standard to attain for geotechnical slope stability
vi. Phosphate Injection: continue; and request approval from DRMS for
expanding program as proven and needed
vii. Remedial Earthwork for Erosion Control: implement as needed
viii. Remedial Revegetation: implement as needed
ix. Continue revegetation seeding with successful seed mixes, but reduce
seedling plantings due to severe impacts by wildlife
X. Riprapping, mainly on drainage channels
xi. Roadways, maintain access roads across site
b. New Reclamation Activities _ obtain DRMS approvals as needed
i. Upper Slopes near Scarp Feature — Earthwork and Revegetation
ii. Quarry Slopes — Earthwork and Revegetation
iii. Road Reclamation — at conclusion of reclamation, per USFS standards
iv. Inlet pipe at Millsite pond — instaIl riprap
V. Revise and replace culverts as drainage structures on waste dumps
vi. Determine need for liners under specific segments of riprap channels;
install as locations are identified
