The diversion ditches on piles 2 and 4 were clear of debris and capable of functioning as designed. There <br />was not any water flowing in the ditches during the inspection. There were no s ections of the ditches where <br />breaches were observed or any other erosional features. The perimeter ditches were clear of debris and dry. No <br />erosional issues were noted. The cover fill (subsoil) stockpile located to the east of Gob Pile 2 was in good <br />condition. There were no issues with erosion or instability at the site. <br /> <br />Work on Gob Pile 3 (Photo 4) has been suspended until the spring of 2018. The pile is in good repair and stable. <br />There were no erosional features identified. The west drying area is stable and there were no erosional features <br />noted. The east drying area was stable with no observed erosional issues. The coverfill stockpile was well <br />vegetated and stable. There were no erosional features on the pile. Located to the east of the coverfill pile is the <br />topsoil pile for Gob Pile 3. The topsoil pile had no indicatio ns of erosion or instability. The topsoil pile had well <br />established vegetation on it. Ditch J11 and the East Clean Water Diversion were clear of debris and in good <br />repair. There were no erosional issues noted. The perimeter ditches for the Gob Pile 3 area were in good <br />condition and capable of functioning as designed.
