the water associated with these shares from a point of diversion located <br /> on the South bank of Left Hand Creek, on property that it owns for this <br /> purpose. These diversions will be made at a maximum rate of 50 gallons <br /> per minute during the irrigation season, which extends from April 1 to <br /> October 31. A continuous measuring device will be installed at the point of <br /> diversion. Access will be granted to the Left Hand Creek Ditch Company's <br /> representatives to enable them to monitor the amount of water being <br /> diverted for milling operations. <br /> (k) Refuse, Acid, or Toxic Producing Materials <br /> There will be no refuse, acid, or toxic producing materials associated with <br /> the installation and operation of the Gold Hill Mill Waterline. No waste <br /> rock, vein material (ore), wall rock material, or toxic materials are expected <br /> to be disturbed as a result of the installation, operation, maintenance, or <br /> future replacement of any segment of the Gold Hill Mill Waterline. <br /> (1) Hydrologic Balance <br /> The Gold Hill Mill Waterline will not have any effect on the site specific or <br /> regional hydrological balance due to the nature of the proposed activities. <br /> (m) Ore Processing <br /> The installation, operation, and maintenance of the Gold Hill Mill Waterline <br /> will not directly involve ore processing. This Permit Amendment is <br /> submitted to conform with the October 30, 2017 Order of the Mined Land <br /> Reclamation Board to ensure that all lands affected by the mining/milling <br /> activities of the Colorado Milling Company, LLC are located within an <br /> approved affected land boundary and addressed by a reclamation plan <br /> and appropriate performance and financial warranties. The Gold Hill Mill <br /> (MLRD Permit No. M-1994-117) is currently permitted to process gold and <br /> silver ores from the Cash and Who Do Mines (MLRD Permit No. <br /> M-1983-141). <br /> (n) Primary Commodities <br /> As previously indicated, the installation, operation, and maintenance of the <br /> Gold Hill Mill Waterline is associated with the operation of the Gold Hill <br /> Mill, which was constructed and permitted to process gold and silver ores <br /> from mines situated in the Boulder County Telluride Belt and mines <br /> located in the Gold Hill Mining District. <br /> Exhibit C— Mining/Milling Plan 3 <br />
