the water associated with these shares from a point of diversion located
on the South bank of Left Hand Creek, on property that it owns for this
purpose. These diversions will be made at a maximum rate of 50 gallons
per minute during the irrigation season, which extends from April 1 to
October 31. A continuous measuring device will be installed at the point of
diversion. Access will be granted to the Left Hand Creek Ditch Company's
representatives to enable them to monitor the amount of water being
diverted for milling operations.
(k) Refuse, Acid, or Toxic Producing Materials
There will be no refuse, acid, or toxic producing materials associated with
the installation and operation of the Gold Hill Mill Waterline. No waste
rock, vein material (ore), wall rock material, or toxic materials are expected
to be disturbed as a result of the installation, operation, maintenance, or
future replacement of any segment of the Gold Hill Mill Waterline.
(1) Hydrologic Balance
The Gold Hill Mill Waterline will not have any effect on the site specific or
regional hydrological balance due to the nature of the proposed activities.
(m) Ore Processing
The installation, operation, and maintenance of the Gold Hill Mill Waterline
will not directly involve ore processing. This Permit Amendment is
submitted to conform with the October 30, 2017 Order of the Mined Land
Reclamation Board to ensure that all lands affected by the mining/milling
activities of the Colorado Milling Company, LLC are located within an
approved affected land boundary and addressed by a reclamation plan
and appropriate performance and financial warranties. The Gold Hill Mill
(MLRD Permit No. M-1994-117) is currently permitted to process gold and
silver ores from the Cash and Who Do Mines (MLRD Permit No.
M-1983-141).
(n) Primary Commodities
As previously indicated, the installation, operation, and maintenance of the
Gold Hill Mill Waterline is associated with the operation of the Gold Hill
Mill, which was constructed and permitted to process gold and silver ores
from mines situated in the Boulder County Telluride Belt and mines
located in the Gold Hill Mining District.
Exhibit C— Mining/Milling Plan 3
