(e) Mine Operations <br /> Not applicable to this Permit Amendment Application. <br /> (f) Significant Disturbance <br /> There will not be any significant surface disturbances associated with the <br /> installation of the Left Hand Creek Pump Station, the Gold Hill Mill <br /> Pipeline, or the use of the Times Mine adit portal. Existing roadways will <br /> be maintained in their current configuration. <br /> (g) Existing and Proposed Roadways <br /> As stated above, the installation of the Gold Hill Mill Waterline will be <br /> carried out using existing historic mine access roads which will be <br /> maintained in their current configuration to accommodate the installation, <br /> maintenance, replacement and operation of the Left Hand Creek Pump <br /> Station, the Gold Hill Mill Pipeline, and the use of the Times Mine adit <br /> portal. <br /> (h) Water Consumption <br /> There will be no consumptive use of groundwater by the activities of the <br /> Colorado Milling Company, LLC during the operation of the Gold Hill Mill <br /> Waterline. <br /> (i) Groundwater/Surface Water Impacts and Controls <br /> Groundwater impacts are not anticipated by the installation and use of the <br /> Left Hand Creek Pump Station, the Gold Hill Mill Pipeline, or the use of the <br /> Times Mine adit portal. <br /> Surface water impacts are anticipated to be negligible, since these have <br /> already been mitigated by the use of culverts and berming on existing <br /> roads near any areas affected by the installation of the Gold Hill Mill <br /> Waterline. <br /> (j) Water Rights <br /> Water rights for the Gold Hill Mill were obtained by the purchase of 20 <br /> shares of stock in the Left Hand Ditch Company, which entitles the <br /> Colorado Milling Company to a pro-rata share of the water available from <br /> Left Hand Creek. Based upon the historic diversions associated with these <br /> water shares, the milling complex will be entitled to a minimum of 10.4 <br /> acre feet of water per year in a dry year, and a maximum of 22.53 acre <br /> feet of water in a wet year.
