Gob Pile 1 has been reclaimed a nd vegetation has grown
well on it. Gob Pile 4 has been partially reclaimed. Subsoil has been replaced on much of the pile, the remaining
portion will be completed at the same time as when subsoil is finished being placed on Gob Pile 2. Volunteer
vegetation has grown on much of the subsoil material placed on Gob Piles 2 and 4. This plant growth has helped
stabilize the piles and reduce the amount of sediment transported with runoff. The diversion ditches to the gob
piles were clear from debris and capable of functioning as designed. There was not any water flowing in the
ditches at the time of the inspection. The to p of Gob Pile 2 has yet to be covered with subsoil. The top of the pile
has been graded to create positive drainage to an outlet lined with sediment logs. The outlet was in good repair.
