DIVISION 1 - GENERAL REQUIREMENTS <br />SECTION 01100 - SPECIAL PROJECT PROCEDURES <br />PART 1 - GENERAL <br />All work required for this project is to be accomplished in accordance with the contract drawings and <br />specifications. <br />PART 2 - NOT APPLICABLE <br />PART 3 - EXECUTION <br />3.01 GENERAL <br />A. Construction Sequence: <br />I . The Contractor shall submit a proposed constructiork sequence and schedule with <br />the bid to Martin Marietta for approval. <br />B. The Contractor will be responsible to attend weekly progress meetings onsite with Martin <br />Marietta and miscellaneous interested parties. <br />3.02 CONTRACT TIME <br />A. The contractor shall submit a schedule of construction on weekly basis. <br />B. Substantial Completion: <br />1. The work will be substantially complete within a period of approximately sixty <br />(60) days from the notice to proceed (NTP). Dates for Substantial Completion <br />will be mutually agreed upon by Martin Marietta and Contractor during the pre - <br />construction meeting. <br />C. Substantial completion is defined as that degree of completion of the Projects operating <br />facilities or systems is sufficient to provide Martin Marietta beneficial operation of the <br />work. <br />3.03 WARRANTY <br />Contractor represents and warrants to Martin Marietta that (a) aII equipment, tools, and materials <br />for the Project will be maintained by Contractor in good and safe operating condition; (b) all <br />persons doing the work will be properly trained and supervised; (c) all materials and equipment <br />furnished under the Contract will be of the best quality and new unless otherwise specified by the <br />Contract; (d) the Work will be free from all defects and deficiencies of material and workmanship <br />and will strictly conform to the requirements of the Contract; and (e) Contractor at its expense <br />shall cure any defective or deficient Work arising within one year. <br />Iverson Mine Grading Section 01100 - Special Project Procedures <br />133-24097-15001 Page 1 of 2 <br />
