A. HOURS OF OPERATION <br />The hours of operation on-site are as follows; <br />7 days a week, dawn to dusk. <br />3.04 MSHA/OSHA REQUIREMENTS <br />A. All persons working on and/or entering the site shall be at a minimum MSHA Part 46 <br />hazard trained for the MMM mine site. In addition, persons that will be working on the <br />site for more than five (5) days that are not considered by law to be an experienced miner <br />must be new miner trained. Training and compliance assistance is available through the <br />Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety, and the Colorado Stone, Sand, <br />and Gravel Association (CSSGA). <br />B_ Contractor is required to know and comply with all MSHA regulations, including but not <br />limited to 30 CFR Parts 41 (Legal Identity), 45 (Contractor Requirements), 46 (Training), <br />47 (Hazard Communications), and 56 (Health and Safety standards for Metal/Non-Metal <br />Surface Mines). <br />C. Contractor shall have their own MSHA Part 46 Training Plan_ <br />D. Contractor shall have, and provide Martin Marietta a copy of, their MSHA HAZCO1M <br />Program and list of hazardous chemicals used on-site. The MSHA Part 47 HAZCOM <br />Program Plan is acceptable in lieu of the OSHA Program. <br />E. Contractor shall be able to provide proof that on-site employees and subcontractors have <br />received required safety training and training in the tasks they are to perform. All <br />personnel shall sign in at the site_ The sign in sheet will be delivered to Martin Marietta <br />at weekly construction meeting. <br />F. Contractor shall be wholly responsible for citations, abatement costs, and fines received <br />for OSHA or MSHA inspections. <br />[r��►L�]b��i�l�Pl�� <br />A.
